Split between two households: approximately 100 pounds each for $1,697.50 per household. If you share the deposit equally, that’s $509.25 each upfront.
Split between four households: approximately 50 pounds each for $848.75 per household. If you share the deposit equally, that’s about $254.63 each upfront.
The entire half-beef order costs $3,395, with one $1,018.50 deposit and a $2,376.50 balance due at delivery. Your group decides how to share payment and divide the cuts.
The person coordinating the split receives an additional 10 pounds of premium ground beef, separate from the approximately 200 pounds your group shares.

We’re Nick and Denise with The Back 40 Ranch in Carthage, Texas. Our beef is grass-fed and grass-finished. As our herd grows, we also source beef from local ranchers who raise cattle according to our standards.
Sharing a half beef lets you buy directly from our ranch while dividing the cost and freezer space with people you know.
